Lacerta Cabernet Sauvignon Shiraz Red Wine

A dry red wine, **harmonious** and well **balanced**, revealing a persistent, seductive aftertaste with **intense notes of red fruits**, complemented by **spicy** nuances and a hint of **coffee**. The aroma surprises with a fruity bouquet, featuring notes of **cherries**, **blackberries**, **figs**, **vanilla**, and **spices**, caressed by menthol breezes.

Culinary recommendations

Serve at 17-19°C and can be accompanied by strong-flavored cheeses, dark chocolate, or red meat dishes.

About the producer

South of the Carpathian Mountains, along the 45th parallel, the famous wine parallel where Piedmont and Bordeaux are also located, there is a place where spring is quite dry, and autumn is sunny and long. It's a place where the fertile and clean land is recognized by the small lizards running everywhere.

If you stop in Dealu Mare to admire the hills covered with vineyards and enjoy the crisp air, you can always find living proof that these lands are ideal for grapes. In 2011, the lizards lent their Latin name to the multi-awarded wines from these places: LacertA.
 

At the center of the LacertA estate is Conacul Dorobantu, the work of architect Ion Mincu. Built in 1901 and renovated in 2005 according to original plans,
this example of Neo-Romanian architecture overlooks the surrounding hills, brimming with vineyards.
The welcoming grandeur of the manor invites you to taste the noble wine, as well as to admire from above one of the most beautiful wine estates. Any visit becomes a memorable experience, as the surrounding hills, rich in vineyards, offer a visual delight. The 82 hectares of vineyards producing gold-medal-winning wine at numerous international competitions, the architecture of the manor, and the 7000 years of wine history in this privileged area make LacertA an experience that must be felt. And, as proof of the perfect symbiosis between mineral, plant, and animal life, lizards quickly make their way across the brown soil, ideal for wine, and then settle and rest in sunlit areas.
