Blended Scotch Whisky Johnnie Walker Red Label is the best-selling Scotch whisky blend in the world, combining up to 35 types of whisky that come from distilleries in all regions of Scotland. Conceived from the very beginning to be enjoyed across the globe, Johnnie Walker Red Label illustrates to the highest degree the visionary plan of the Walker family, who succeeded in exporting the Scottish blend to all corners of the world. Johnnie Walker Red Label abounds in spices with vibrant aromas and smoky notes. It delights the palate with the unmistakable blend of spices such as cinnamon and pepper, which generously flow over the taste bud area in the center of the tongue. It then reveals a subtle fruity sweetness, thanks to the taste of fresh apple, before giving way to a long, persistent and smoky finish – the signature note, characteristic of Johnnie Walker. It is recommended to be served with ice, in a tall glass, complemented by a soft drink, such as ginger ale. Since 1820, Johnnie Walker proves to be the perfect gift for family, colleagues, friends or for any occasion that arises.

About the manufacturer
The story of the world's most famous whisky begins in the shop owned by John Walker, where he had the brilliant idea of selling a variety created from a blend of single malts. Alexander Walker learned the art of blending and was ready to successfully take over his father's already prosperous business in 1857. In 1867, Alexander created the famous square bottle, the slanted label, and the 'Old Highland Whisky' variety, which he sold beyond the borders. Upon his death, the company was inherited by his sons George and Alexander II. Ambitious by nature, the two created Johnnie Walker Red Label and Johnnie Walker Black Label. Starting in 1900, the company's blends became part of global culture, being present in 120 countries. In 1934, John Walker & Sons became a supplier to the British Royal Household. At the end of the 20th century, Johnnie Walker Blue Label, Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve, and Johnnie Walker Platinum Label joined the range.
