Description
One of the most popular whiskeys in the world, Jack Daniel's, is named after Jasper Newton Daniel, who impressed his compatriots with a refined drink that they considered bourbon. However, since the end of the 19th century, Jack has carefully and attentively promoted his drink and called it Tennessee Whiskey (not bourbon), because the distillate was and is filtered through maple charcoal in the distillery in the American state of Tennessee. Jack left a legacy of the distillery, the recipe, the production processes and the name Tennessee Whiskey.
