Bifidobacterium animalis subsp. lactis, DSM 15954 in the composition of LINEX Baby is one of the most scientifically well-documented bacterial strains in the world: it has been studied for over 25 years, and the results of the studies have been published in over 250 specialized journals.
The microflora of naturally fed children is mainly composed of bifidobacteria, considered very important for the health of young children. These bacteria play an important role in the health of the entire body:
- Maintain the acid-base balance necessary for the proper functioning of digestive enzymes, promoting normal digestion
- Influence intestinal motility (peristalsis), promoting normal intestinal transit.
Disruption of the intestinal microflora balance can be caused by several factors, including
- Antibiotic treatment
- Bacterial or viral intestinal infections (e.g., with rotavirus)
- Inadequate diets
- Travel (traveler's diarrhea or constipation)

Dosage and method of administration
Children under 2 years of age: 1 sachet per day, preferably during a meal.

Open the sachet and empty its contents into a glass of water, juice or milk. The powder can also be mixed into infant food. To avoid destroying the activity of lactic acid bacteria, do not mix the sachet contents with hot beverages.
Similar to other bacteria, lactic acid bacteria are generally sensitive to antibiotics.
We recommend using LINEX Baby at least 3 hours after antibiotic administration.
