Theraflu cold and cough is indicated for the short-term symptomatic treatment of cold and flu symptoms and chills, when accompanied by mild to moderate pain and/or fever, nasal congestion, with an expectorant effect in the case of productive, chesty cough.
Ingredients:
- The active substances are paracetamol, phenylephrine hydrochloride and guaifenesin. Each capsule contains paracetamol 500 mg, phenylephrine hydrochloride 6.1 mg (corresponding to 5 mg phenylephrine base) and guaifenesin 100 mg.
- The other components are: croscarmellose sodium, corn starch, sodium lauryl sulfate, talc and magnesium stearate.
The capsule shell contains: gelatin, purified water, indigotine (E 132), titanium dioxide (E 171), quinoline yellow (E 104), sodium lauryl sulfate, erythrosine (E 127).
How to use:
Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Two capsules every 4-6 hours, as needed. The total daily dose should not exceed 6 capsules within a 24-hour period (2 capsules administered three times a day). The duration of treatment should not exceed 3 days.
