Therapeutic indications.

Contracept-M is indicated for local contraception. This method considerably reduces the risk of pregnancy without completely suppressing it: efficacy is higher the more strictly the method of use is followed.

The contraceptive method is indicated for women in their sexually active period.

Special indications are for the following situations:

- when there is a temporary or definitive contraindication for oral or intrauterine device (IUD) contraception;

Dosage and administration.

The recommended dose is one ovule before each sexual intercourse, regardless of the period of the menstrual cycle you are in. Contraceptive protection is ensured for approximately 4 hours. In case of new sexual contact, another ovule should be used. In case of repeated intercourse, you must use a new ovule each time.

Method of use: The ovule is inserted deeply intravaginally, 5-10 minutes before sexual intercourse, with the patient in a dorsal recumbent position, to ensure optimal dissolution of the active substance. External hygiene immediately after sexual intercourse should be done only with water (do not use soap, as it reduces the spermicidal effect). If the ovule has softened due to heat, it is recommended to store it in the refrigerator (2°C – 8°C).
