Escapelle emergency contraceptive from Gedeon Richter is designed to prevent pregnancy when taken within 72 hours of unprotected sex. This 1.5 mg tablet contains the active substance levonorgestrel and is most effective the sooner you take it, ideally within the first 12 hours. The product consists of one tablet and will not work if you are already pregnant.
Description
Composition.
The active substance is levonorgestrel. Each tablet contains 1.5 mg levonorgestrel.
The other components are: potato starch, colloidal anhydrous silica, magnesium
stearate, talc, corn starch, lactose monohydrate.
Therapeutic indications.
Escapelle is an emergency contraceptive that can be used within 72 hours (3 days) after unprotected sexual intercourse or after the failure of your contraceptive method.
Escapelle contains a synthetic active substance of hormonal type, called levonorgestrel.
