Composition

Fiobilin contains an active substance called dehydrocholic acid and belongs to the group of medicines called bile acid preparations.
It is recommended in the following conditions:
- Chronic cholecystitis – inflammatory condition of the gallbladder
- Biliary dyskinesia – disorder of gallbladder function
- Chronic constipation of hepatic origin
- Migraines and convalescence after acute hepatitis A (epidemic).
Contraindications/Warnings
Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken or might take any other medicines.
In particular, tell your doctor if you are taking:
- Diuretics – medicines used to eliminate excess water from the body
- Antihypertensives – medicines used to lower high blood pressure
- Laxatives – medicines used for the treatment of constipation.
It is generally advisable that Fiobilin be administered at an interval of 2 hours from any other medicines.
Dosage and administration
