         Blueberries contain a multitude of vitamins and minerals, but their great benefit is the impressive amount of antioxidants that transform them into true treasures of nature, necessary for maintaining health, but also for preventing premature aging. Thus, blueberries have antioxidant, antiviral and antibacterial properties and contain very few calories compared to other fruits, having a low glycemic index, which recommends them in any diet, including the diet of people suffering from diabetes.

         Blueberries contain large amounts of vitamins A, B6, C, E, K, calcium, magnesium, potassium, but also sodium. However, what makes them truly valuable are the antioxidants in their composition. Blueberries contain anthocyanins, antioxidants that give them their color, resveratrol and quercetin. In addition, blueberries contain protein, fiber and healthy carbohydrates.

         To understand the nutritional value of these small fruits, here is the percentage of nutrients per 100 grams of fresh blueberries: 57 calories, 84% water, 0.7 grams of protein, 14.5 grams of carbohydrates, 10 grams of sugar, 2.4 grams of fiber, 0.3 grams of fat.

About the producer

             Merry Berry is a Romanian project "built" from scratch. On the national road that connects Targoviste to Ploiesti, a small sign indicates the presence of the blueberry plantation. There are over 100 hectares of blueberries, organic crops, recently established, with serious pedoclimatic studies preceding the establishment of the crops and a warehouse that looks like a large and modern factory - pharmacy: everything is equipped and very, very clean and bright, the fruits are kept at the optimum temperature and calibrated according to size on automatic sorting belts, after which they are packed in trays and delivered to Sezamo; only the tastiest varieties have been planted, and the result is clear: exceptionally sweet and tasty blueberries, which we recommend with all our heart and with all our confidence.
