Sweets, pies and natural jam have a special place in Romanian cuisine.

Traditional Romanian cuisine is the name given to the result of synthesizing the tastes and gastronomic customs specific to the Romanian people.

About the producer

In the beginning, it was a tourist guesthouse, where nature-loving tourists came to "recharge their batteries" and enjoy the unspoiled wonders of nature, the chirping of birds, the fresh air, the magnificent landscape as if drawn by the hand of a skilled painter and... the delicious dishes prepared here according to traditional recipes, some preserved in their old form, others slightly reinvented or completely sophisticated with good taste and with a lot of passion.

Poiana is "watered" by the Strigoiu stream, which flows right at our gate into the Bughea river, and from the garden you can go directly into the forest. Here you can find plenty of medicinal plants and forest fruits (fir and pine buds, balm, dandelion, raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, sour cherries, sea buckthorn, rose hips, hazelnuts), but also different species of mushrooms (chanterelles, morels, beech mushrooms, boletus, cockscomb and others).

Later, the tourists enchanted by this Corner of Paradise and the delicacies tasted here, encouraged us not to keep these delicacies only for us (and for them), but to promote them also among those who cannot reach us. This is how our range of products was born, of which we are proud today and which is already very much appreciated both in the country and abroad: "Delicatese din Poiana Fermecata".
