Transported by air, this Spanish Formosa papaya is a tropical fruit, 1 buc. Noticeably larger than regular papayas, it often weighs over 1100 g, with light green to yellowish skin and sweet orange flesh tasting like peaches. The black seeds are easy to remove, making it great fresh or in fruit salads, and it stays fresh for around 2 days.

DESCRIPTION
The Papaya Formosa variety is tastier and larger than the classic papaya fruit. The skin has a light green to yellowish color. The flesh is orange, with black seeds in the middle, which are very easy to remove. The taste is very sweet, similar to that of peaches. The fruits are large, most often weighing more than 1100 grams.
Use
Papaya is eaten fresh, sliced. It can also be enjoyed in yogurt or in fruit salads.
Our tip: Prepare a less conventional papaya fruit salad.
Cut the papaya in half and remove the seeds. Cut one half of the core into cubes. Mix with any other fruit, preferably mango, strawberries, peaches, pineapple. In the other half, put the fruit salad already prepared and pour yogurt over it.
