Passion Fruit

Passion fruit (maracuja) – an exotic fruit freshly imported from Colombia, with an intense, sweet-sour taste and an unmistakable tropical aroma. Ideal for juices, smoothies, desserts, and sauces.

What does it look like and how is it consumed?
The skin is purple to purple-brown. Inside you will find a yellow-orange fruity pulp, full of edible seeds. Cut it in half and eat it with a spoon, straight from the skin.

Nutritional benefits: Rich in vitamin C, vitamin A, iron, and dietary fiber. One passion fruit contains only ~17 kcal, making it an excellent choice for a healthy lifestyle.

Culinary use: Natural juices, passion fruit mousse, cheesecake, yogurt topping, sauce for fish or seafood, tropical cocktails.

Storage: Keep in the refrigerator, between 1–3°C, for 3-5 days.
