Preparation method

Carefully wrap the cheese in cling film and place it in the freezer for 10–15 minutes. This step will make the cheese easier to grate.

Wash the figs, cut them lengthwise into halves, and arrange them on a platter or individual plates.

Remove the cheese from the freezer and grate it generously over the fig halves.
