Această rețetă combină tehnica americană de „smashing” pentru o crustă crocantă irezistibilă cu o dulceață de bacon artizanală, dulce-acrișoară, și o maioneză cremoasă cu piper negru. Un festin gourmet gata în doar 40 de minute, perfect pentru o cină specială sau un răsfăț de weekend.

Cut the bacon into small pieces and fry it over medium heat until golden. Remove excess fat, leaving about one tablespoon in the pan. Let it cool slightly.

Add the chopped red onion and sauté until golden (approx. 8–10 minutes). Incorporate the sugar, maple syrup, balsamic vinegar cream, and a pinch of pepper. You can also add chipotle sauce for a spicy note. Simmer over low heat until the mixture thickens and becomes sticky, like jam (approx. 10–15 minutes). If it's too thick, add a little water.

PEPPER MAYONNAISE

Mix the mayonnaise with freshly ground pepper, mustard, and Worcestershire sauce. Let the mixture rest for at least 10 minutes for the flavors to meld.
