The Amigo story begins in 1967, in a town in the state of Parana, southern Brazil, Cornelio Procopio
In this town, a group of local farmers decided to invest in a factory for processing and packaging the famous Brazilian coffee. In 1971 the factory was ready, but it was not until 1981 that the investors managed to develop their export capacities. This is how a success story begins, a story of one of the most beloved brands in Romania, a story written, first and foremost, by and for the consumers of the Amigo brand. In 1982, the first imports of Amigo coffee arrived in Romania, initially through state operations, and later with the help of private companies. What makes the Amigo story special, even unique in places, is the sacred preservation of 100% Brazilian coffee in the composition, the caramelized recipe and taste, the place of production and the packaging in a box. The box was chosen in 1982 because it managed to isolate the coffee very well after opening, preventing air from affecting the aroma of the coffee inside. This is still the number one reason why the box has remained the same today. Tradition but also the hermetic qualities of the metal box.
In 2024, Amigo launches the range of Amigo Cafea 3in1 specialties, products packaged in a 13g preparation dose, in a sachet. The range includes both the classic products Amigo 3in1 and Amigo 3in1 Cappuccino, as well as products that bring consumers the most trendy tastes and aromas, namely Amigo 3in1 Hazelnut, Amigo 3in1 Salted Caramel, Amigo 3in1 Butter Toffee and Amigo 3in1 Irish Cream.

Preparation method
For one cup, use a teaspoon of Amigo coffee, then add hot water or milk. Sweeten to taste. Close the box tightly after each use.
