The Amigo story begins in 1967, in a town in the state of Parana, southern Brazil, Cornelio Procopio
In this town, a group of local farmers decided to invest in a factory for processing and packaging the famous Brazilian coffee. In 1971 the factory was ready, but it was not until 1981 that the investors managed to develop their export capacities. This is how a success story begins, a story of one of the most beloved brands in Romania, a story written, first and foremost, by and for the consumers of the Amigo brand. In 1982, the first imports of Amigo coffee arrived in Romania, initially through state operations, and later with the help of private companies. What makes the Amigo story special, even unique in places, is the sacred preservation of 100% Brazilian coffee in its composition, the caramelized recipe and taste, the place of production and the packaging in a tin. The tin was chosen in 1982 because it managed to isolate the coffee very well after opening, preventing air from affecting the aroma of the coffee inside. This is still the number one reason why the tin has remained the same today. Tradition but also the hermetic qualities of the metal tin.
In 2022, Amigo celebrates 40 years since its launch, after 40 years of energizing Romanians every day, after 40 years of consistency, Amigo is the favorite coffee of Romanians, winning the appreciation, love and respect of its consumers.

Preparation method
For one cup, use a teaspoon of Amigo coffee, then add hot water or milk. Sweeten to taste. Close the tin tightly after each use.
