Composition
100 ml nasal drops, solution contain ephedrine hydrochloride 1 g and excipients: sodium chloride, benzalkonium chloride, purified water.
Therapeutic indications
Symptomatic treatment of acute rhinitis and sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, edema occurring after endonasal surgical interventions.
Dosage and administration
The usual dose is 3-4 drops, in each nostril, 3 times/day, for 4-5 days.
Precautions
Prolonged administration causes tachyphylaxis.
Administration of the medicine for more than 7 days can cause congestive phenomena of the nasal mucosa, due to its local irritating action.
