Therapeutic indications
Symptomatic treatment of acute rhinitis and sinusitis, vasomotor rhinitis, edema occurring after endonasal surgical interventions.
Dosage and administration
¿ Children over 12 years: the usual dose is 2-3 drops, in each nostril, 2 times/day, for 3 days;
¿ Adults: the usual dose is 3-4 drops, in each nostril, 3 times/day, for 4-5 days.
Precautions
Prolonged administration causes tachyphylaxis.
Administration of the medicine for more than 7 days may cause congestive phenomena of the nasal mucosa, due to its local irritating action.

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
SER EFEDRINAT 0.5% can be used during pregnancy only on medical recommendation.
Ephedrine is excreted in breast milk. This medicine is not recommended during breastfeeding, due to the risk of cardiovascular adverse reactions (tachycardia) in the infant.
