The resulting wine is **intense**, balanced, with a strong aroma of blackcurrants, dried plums, cocoa, and lightly toasted wood. Well-ripened tannins are balanced by a pleasant acidity, well-integrated alcohol, and a prolonged body and finish. It is a wine easy to pair with various pork, beef, or lamb dishes, and its suppleness, complexity, and gustatory conviviality make it a perfect companion for friendly gatherings, business meetings, or family evenings.
