Composition. The active substance is acetylsalicylic acid. One tablet contains 500 mg acetylsalicylic acid. The other components are: microcrystalline cellulose, croscarmellose sodium, talc.

Therapeutic indications. ASAprin in medium doses has analgesic and antipyretic action and is indicated for:

- combating mild to moderate pain, such as headaches, muscle pain, joint and periarticular rheumatic pain, neuralgia, dental pain, menstrual pain;

- combating fever.

Dosage and method of administration.

Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The tablets are administered with a sufficient amount of water, preferably after meals.

Adults, adolescents and children over 16 years of age

For the analgesic and antipyretic effect, 1 tablet of ASAprin (500 mg acetylsalicylic acid) is administered, repeating as necessary at intervals of 4-6 hours. The maximum daily dose is 8 tablets of ASAprin (4 g acetylsalicylic acid).

Children and adolescents under 16 years of age

Administration to this age group is not indicated.

Precautions

- in children with influenza, respiratory viral infections or chickenpox, due to the risk of infectious complications and Reye's syndrome, acetylsalicylic acid should not be used;

- in patients with allergies; in case of bronchial asthma and other chronic obstructive bronchopneumopathies, pollen allergy, allergic rhinitis, nasal polyps, allergic reactions to other medicines, treatment is carried out under medical supervision;

- if you are elderly, your doctor may recommend using lower doses of the medicine;

- if you have had a gastroduodenal ulcer;

- if you have conditions with a risk of hemorrhage (bleeding), menorrhagia (continued menstrual bleeding);

- if you use intrauterine devices;

- if you have hepatic and renal impairment;

- if your doctor has told you that you have a congenital glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency;

- if you have gout and use high doses of acetylsalicylic acid (it decreases the elimination of uric acid);

- if you are scheduled to undergo surgery (increased risk of bleeding).

Special warnings.

Fertility, pregnancy and lactation

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. Do not use ASAprin if you are in the last trimester of pregnancy. In the first two trimesters of pregnancy, take ASAprin only if your doctor recommends it. During breastfeeding, take ASAprin only if your doctor recommends it.

Driving and using machines

ASAprin does not affect the ability to drive and use machines.
