Cocoa nibs are obtained from cocoa beans by cleaning and crushing them. Our Obio ECO cocoa beans come from the mountainous areas of Peru. Before making cocoa nibs, the cocoa beans are lightly fermented to obtain a better aroma and taste. They contain magnesium, sulfur and antioxidants, monoamine oxidase enzyme inhibitors, phenylethylamine and anandamide. All of these are beneficial for having a healthy heart, relieving stress and having a better mood.
