Before making cocoa nibs, the cocoa beans are lightly fermented to obtain a better aroma and taste. They contain magnesium, sulfur and antioxidants, monoamine oxidase enzyme inhibitors, phenylethylamine and anandamide. All of these are beneficial for having a healthy heart, relieving stress and having a better mood.
