Franziskaner Wheat Beer Unfiltered White Beer

Franziskaner Weissbier Nefiltrata is a beer with a fruity aroma of bananas and spiced with notes of cloves, in which the hops are discreet. The beer's dark golden color, opaque character and white creamy foam create the conditions for enjoying a beer with a strong carbonation and a light and pleasant aromatic finish (5% alc.).

About the producer

The roots of the Franziskaner brewery can be traced back to 1363. In this year, the name "Franziscan Brewery" in Munich is mentioned for the first time. The name can be traced back to the Franciscan monastery, which was located diagonally opposite and with which there was probably always a connection.

In 1974 the Spaten-Franziskaner Brewery marketed its wheat beer under the name Franziskaner Hefe-Weissbier.
Franziskaner Weissbier is produced in one of the most modern production facilities and exclusively according to the Bavarian Purity Law. At the beginning of the millennium, Franziskaner Weissbier is one of the largest brands on the German wheat beer market without having lost its roots, which speaks for the popularity and quality of this wheat beer specialty beyond the borders of Bavaria.
