About the producer

Zaganu is an independent micro-brewery, 100% Romanian founded in 2013 by Alexandru and Laurentiu, two young entrepreneurs.
The production is provided by a small team of skilled locals from the commune of Maneciu, led by a master brewer. The micro-brewery is located at the foot of the Zaganu peak in the Carpathian Mountains, near the Cheia resort, in the village of Maneciu-Ungureni, Prahova county. Zaganu, both the mountain and the beer, are named after a species of vulture (bearded vulture), hunted to extinction 100 years ago. The beer produced in this micro-brewery is called Zaganu and is a craft beer, unpasteurized, made only from ingredients that are easy to read and pronounce: water, malt, hops and yeast.

Storage conditions

Keep the beer in a cool place, away from sunlight, we recommend below 10°C.
