Black Lager is a type of lager beer, with a light, easy-to-drink taste. Grivita Black beer is produced only from natural ingredients, selected with the utmost care. The production process is slow, unhurried, and maturation takes place at low temperatures. Batches are small, with the aim of fully extracting the hop aromas, and providing the yeast with the necessary environment to transform the liquid into premium quality beer. Dark color, velvety taste, light hop aroma, with a fluffy layer of foam. It is a black, lager beer, easy to drink, with a chocolate aftertaste. Culinary pairings: grilled or oven-roasted meats. It balances the taste of prosciutto, the taste of any salty, smoked or raw-dried ham. The body and caramelized flavor, of chocolate and coffee, can be wonderfully paired with ice creams and fruit or chocolate-based desserts.

About the producer
Grivita is a craft beer with a new history rooted in the collective memory of consumers. A completely new project meant to continue the traditions and values in Romanian beer production. The factory is located in a historic building constructed in 1892, which housed part of the former Belvedere cigarette factory. Fabrica Grivita proposes a completely new way of producing beer – increased attention to quality and the experiences of beer consumers.
The first transparent beer factory in Romania and the only one with a production area open to the public was launched in June 2019. Fabrica Grivita SRL invested in the craft beer production center and bar with the objective of launching a natural, authentic beer product on the market to penetrate the new craft beer market in Romania. Everything is transparent, from the quality of the ingredients used to the way each beer is produced and bottled. The location shows dedication to quality and transparency.
