Composition
10 ml RINONEF-T, nasal drops contain: ephedrine hydrochloride 50 mg, neomycin sulfate 50 mg and excipients.
Therapeutic indications
Treatment of acute and chronic rhinitis, caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria sensitive to neomycin, allergic rhinitis and edema occurring after endonasal surgical interventions.
Dosage and administration
¿ Children over 12 years: the usual dose is one drop of RINONEF-T instilled into each nostril 2-4 times a day, for 5 days.
¿ Adults: the usual dose is 1-2 drops of RINONEF-T instilled into each nostril 2-5 times a day, for 5-7 days.

Prolonged administration causes tachyphylaxis.
Administering the medicine for more than 7 days can cause congestive phenomena of the nasal mucosa, due to its local irritating action.
Athletes should be warned that this medicine contains an active substance that may lead to positive anti-doping tests.
Special warnings
Pregnancy, breastfeeding, fertility
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
Rinonef-T can be used during pregnancy if the doctor considers it necessary.
Ephedrine is excreted in breast milk. This medicine is not recommended during breastfeeding, due to the risk of cardiovascular adverse reactions (tachycardia) in the infant.
Driving vehicles and operating machinery
It has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery.
