Fenistil gel contains an active substance belonging to a group of medicines called antihistamines.
Fenistil gel is used to relieve itching associated with skin rashes, urticaria, insect bites, sunburn and superficial burns.
Fenistil gel stops itching by blocking the action of histamine, a substance released by the human body during an allergic reaction. Because the gel penetrates the skin easily, itching and irritations are quickly relieved, within minutes. Fenistil Gel also has a local anesthetic effect.
If after 7 days you do not feel better or feel worse, you should consult a doctor.
Ingredients:
- The active substance is dimetindene maleate. One gram of Fenistil gel contains 1 mg dimetindene maleate.
- The other components are: benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, carbomer (Carbopol 974 P), sodium hydroxide 30% solution, propylene glycol, purified water.
