Legras & Haas Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs Brut 2012 Extra Brut White Sparkling Wine

The 2011 Millesime Legras & Haas Blanc de Blancs Brut Grand Cru Champagne is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes harvested in 2011. The grapes come from the vineyards on the northernmost Grand Cru plot in the Cotes des Blancs wine region - Choully. Due to the weather conditions of the year, the resulting base wine showed spectacular aging potential, and so the decision was made to produce a vintage sparkling wine. The tirage took place in 2012, and after 5 years of aging on lees, the sparkling wine was disgorged and released on the market. The producer recommends aging in the bottle for 10 years to reach the perfect moment of consumption. Aging potential of at least 15 years from the moment of disgorgement. Complex aromas of citrus with hints of brioche and honey. Balanced taste with a creamy texture generated by the fine perlage, with persistent notes of citrus, candied fruit, honey and almonds. Long and pleasant aftertaste.

Pairs perfectly with seafood dishes, Peking duck or suckling pig cooked on the grill.
