The process begins with a careful, meticulous selection and constant monitoring and control of suppliers, both for meat and spices.
Zimbo also imposes the highest standards in terms of hygiene and safety in all production processes.
All quality norms and standards are controlled and confirmed by independent audit companies.
These are supervised by the quality and safety seal (QS), the HACCP safety system and the international food safety standard (IFS). All our production capacities are certified according to these standards and frequently exceed even the strictest requirements of the verification authorities.

ZIMBO pays special attention to the selection of original local meat products and specialities. Our products are made using traditional methods and preserve the values of traditional foods and customs.

ZIMBO products have already received numerous awards. In recent years, for example, the German Agricultural Society (DLG) has awarded gold, silver or bronze medals for over 150 products from the ZIMBO range.

In Hungary, between 2007 and 2009, 12 products won the “Excellent Hungarian Food” certification mark from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, which highlights and distinguishes with emphasis products that meet high quality requirements compared to other products. In 2008, ZIMBO won the Grand Prize of the Product of Hungary for its high-quality activities in developing the indigenous product culture and implementing an active quality policy.
