Raspberries are by far the most appreciated of all berries. Although most of us love them for their unmistakable scent, taste and colour, raspberries are more than just an appetizing dessert. They are a fruit rich in minerals (magnesium, calcium, zinc, potassium, phosphorus) and vitamins (A, B1, B2, D and P, but especially vitamin C), with real benefits for our health. Due to their antioxidant content, ellagic and gallic acid, they protect cells against premature aging and the development of certain types of cancer, improve fertility in both sexes and boost immunity.
About the producer
Founded in 2009, Eco Fruct Sultana is a family business, started out of our passion for natural and healthy products, but especially out of the desire to be the ones who take care of and grow fruit trees day by day. With the help of funds accessed under a European program, we created, in the locality of Sultana, Manastirea commune, Calarasi county, a 3.7 ha orchard and a processing line for jams and preserves.
Our mission is to offer people fresh and tasty fruits, like from their grandparents' orchard. With small but important steps, we grow every day and we want that in the long run we should be known not only for the fruits and fruit preparations we offer, but also for the friendly environment we try to build for our customers. We want our orchard to be a friendly space where those who cross our threshold can participate in various activities: involvement in agricultural work, relaxation, ecological education for children. All this in order to feel together, "at home".
