About the producer

"It is so good to trust a woman", said the slogan in 1986. Monique Ranou. A name that smells good reminds me of the countryside and local products. It all started in 1905, when Jean-Pierre Rannou's father founded his company in Quimperate. Corentin Berrehouc opened a butcher's shop in Brittany, where ham, pasta and sausages were found. Since then, the brand has evolved and is dedicated to self-service; it remains part of this trend, which deals with a whole range of products. Monique Rannou and Intermarché signed a partnership in 1992.

In 1998, Monique Rannou decided to transfer her business, and the group bought the company because no member of the Rannou family wanted to take over the business.
