Description
Composition.
The active substances are: One ml oral drops solution contains: 283 mg extract (drug-extract ratio 1:11) from gentian root, cut; verbena aerial parts, cut; sorrel aerial parts, cut; elder flowers, ground; primrose flowers with calyx, cut; (1:3:3:3:3); extraction solvent: ethanol 59% (v/v). One ml oral drops solution contains 17 drops. The other component is: purified water.
Therapeutic indications.
Sinupret oral drops solution is a herbal medicine for the treatment of acute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses. It is indicated for children aged 2 years and older, adolescents and adults.
Dosage and administration.
Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Unless otherwise prescribed by your doctor, the recommended dose is:
Children aged 2 to 5 years - 15 drops, equivalent to 0.9 ml - 3 times a day
Children aged 6 to 11 years - 25 drops, equivalent to 1.5 ml - 3 times a day
Adults and adolescents aged 12 years and over - 50 drops, equivalent to 3.0 ml - 3 times a day
If necessary, Sinupret oral drops solution can be administered with a sufficient amount of liquid (for example, with a glass of water), to mask the bitter taste when administered to children. Sinupret can be taken with or without food, with a quantity of liquid. If you have a sensitive stomach, it is recommended to take Sinupret after meals.
Precautions.
Please consult a doctor if symptoms persist for more than 7-14 days or recur periodically.
In patients with gastritis or sensitive stomachs, this medicine should be taken with great caution. It is preferable to take Sinupret oral drops solution after meals and with a glass of water.
