ENTEROL® 250mg has the following therapeutic indications:
-prevents and treats colitis and diarrhea caused by antibiotic consumption;
-treats acute infectious diarrhea in adults and children;
-in association with vancomycin/metronidazole, prevents recurrence of diseases caused by Clostridium difficile;
-prevents diarrhea caused by enteral nutrition;
-treatment of irritable bowel syndrome.
Dosage and administration:

The recommended dose is 1-2 sachets of ENTEROL® 250mg, 1-2 times a day. Pour the contents of the sachet into a small sweetened soft drink (sugar must be boiled) or food or, if necessary, into a baby bottle.
Treatment with Saccharomyces boulardii CNCM I-745® does not replace rehydration when necessary. The type of rehydration and the route of administration (oral/intravenous) should be determined according to the severity of the diarrhea, the patient's age, and general condition.
If, after 2 days of treatment, diarrhea persists, the therapeutic approach should be re-evaluated, and intravenous rehydration should be considered.
