Alce Nero ECO Demerara Brown Cane Sugar

Organic Demerara cane sugar comes from renowned sugar growing areas in Paraguay and is Fairtrade certified.

Sugar cane is grown in accordance with the specifications of organic farming, without any synthetic chemical treatments and with the exclusive use of organic fertilizers.

Amber-colored, Demerara cane sugar is distinguished by its delicate caramelized aroma and coarse grains.

How to use

It is ideal for sweetening teas, coffee and other beverages.

Storage conditions

Store in a cool, dry place. Once the package is opened, for proper storage, close the bag tightly or use an airtight container.

About the producer

Alce Nero was born in the 1970s, when two groups of young farmers and beekeepers decided that it was time for a change, a change that would lead to changes worldwide and that would be more than a purpose in itself.

Thus began a story of responsibility and innovation, a story that did not remain singular, but acted as a bridge between several such stories, each with its own identity. Eventually, these stories came together in one voice.

Today, this voice is a very powerful one in the adventure of farming organically and at the heart of its mission is respect for the consumer, products, food, healthy nutrition and, last but not least, love for nature.
