Description
Hepathrombin gel is indicated as an adjuvant in:
• superficial venous thrombosis, thrombophlebitis, phlebitis, pre-varicose syndrome, post-phlebitic syndrome, leg ulcer;
• post-traumatic injuries: hematomas, contusions, sprains;
• bursitis, tenosynovitis.
Method of use:
Hepathrombin gel is applied to and around the affected skin area, 2-3 times a day, and massaged gently.
In case of vein inflammation, the area should not be massaged, but the medicine should only be applied in a thin layer to the affected surface, then covered with an occlusive or elastic dressing. In case of varicose ulceration, the gel is applied in the form of a 4 cm wide ring. The gel should only be applied to intact skin.

Adverse reactions associated with Hepathrombin therapy, according to clinical studies, were comparable in intensity and frequency to placebo. Very rarely, skin rashes have been reported following the application of the medicine.
