Composition

Therapeutic indications

Aspenter contains acetylsalicylic acid (also known as aspirin) as its active substance. • Reducing the risk of myocardial infarction in patients with angina pectoris or with multiple risk factors, such as: high blood pressure, increased blood lipid levels (hypercholesterolemia), smoking, diabetes mellitus, and family history;
• Maintaining blood circulation in the heart's blood vessels after certain surgical interventions (vascular plasty and coronary shunt).

Aspenter should not be used for the treatment of fever or pain (regardless of their type) because it releases a small amount of acetylsalicylic acid.

Contraindications/Warnings

Do not use Aspenter

• If you are allergic to acetylsalicylic acid, other salicylates, or any of the other components of this medicine
• If you have a history of reacting to certain pain, fever, or inflammation medications (salicylates or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs), with asthma attacks or other hypersensitivity (allergy);
• If you have a gastric or duodenal ulcer;
• If you have an increased pathological tendency to bleed (hemorrhagic diathesis);
• If you have liver disease or kidney failure;
• If you are concurrently taking 15 mg of methotrexate or more per week;
• If you are in the last trimester of pregnancy
