Composition
The active substance is acetylsalicylic acid. One gastro-resistant film-coated tablet contains 75 mg acetylsalicylic acid. The other components are: core - microcrystalline cellulose (type PH 112), pregelatinized starch, stearic acid, anhydrous colloidal silicon dioxide; film - talc, methacrylic acid-ethyl acrylate copolymer, triethyl citrate, simethicone emulsion
Therapeutic indications
Aspenter contains acetylsalicylic acid (also known as aspirin) as its active substance. Acetylsalicylic acid (Aspenter) belongs to a group of medicines called antithrombotics, platelet antiaggregants. Platelets are small cells present in the blood, which participate in blood clotting and are involved in thrombosis (the formation of blood clots).
Aspenter works by preventing the formation of blood clots and is used for:
- Preventing the recurrence of myocardial infarction and stroke (transient ischemic and cerebral infarction);
- Reducing the risk of myocardial infarction in patients with angina pectoris or with multiple risk factors, such as: high blood pressure, increased blood lipid levels (hypercholesterolemia), smoking, diabetes mellitus, and family history;
- Maintaining blood circulation in the heart's blood vessels after certain surgical interventions (vascular plasty and coronary shunt).
Aspenter should not be used for the treatment of fever or pain (regardless of their type) because it releases a small amount of acetylsalicylic acid.
