Tassimo is a brand of coffee and tea capsules, owned by Jacobs Douwe Egberts. It was launched in 2004 and is available in over 40 countries worldwide. Tassimo machines use T-Disc capsules, which are made of hard plastic and contain coffee, tea or other beverages. When you insert a capsule into the machine, it reads the barcode on the capsule and automatically adjusts the temperature and amount of water to create a perfectly brewed beverage.
