Tantum Verde 1.5 mg/ml oropharyngeal spray is indicated for the anti-inflammatory and analgesic treatment of inflammatory conditions of the oro-pharyngeal mucosa (stomatitis, pharyngitis) and gums.
Tantum Verde 1.5 mg/ml oropharyngeal spray is also indicated in dentistry, after tooth extractions.
Ingredients:
The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride. One ml of solution contains 1.5 mg benzydamine hydrochloride.
The other components are: ethanol 96%, glycerol, methyl p-hydroxybenzoate (E 218), mint flavor, saccharin, polysorbate 20, sodium hydrogen carbonate, purified water."
Method of administration:
Adults: 4-8 sprays 2-6 times a day (each dose is equivalent to 0.17 ml solution).
Children (6-12 years): 4 sprays 2-6 times a day (each dose is equivalent to 0.17 ml solution).
Children under 6 years: one spray for every 4 kg of body weight, up to the maximum recommended dose,
equivalent to 4 sprays 2-6 times a day (each dose is equivalent to 0.17 ml solution).
It is recommended not to exceed the prescribed dose.
Each spray contains 0.17 ml solution.
Tantum Verde spray should be sprayed directly into the mouth or throat to relieve pain and inflammation.
Instructions for the device and its handling
1. Lift the oral applicator (atomizing cannula).
2. Insert the cannula into the mouth and spray directly towards the inflamed area or towards the throat in case of pharyngeal conditions. Press firmly with your finger on the marked area.
For the first use, press the pump several times until a constant spray
is achieved.
