Tantum Verde lemon flavour 3 mg lozenges is an analgesic - anti-inflammatory treatment effective in relieving symptoms associated with local irritative processes in the mouth and pharynx.
Tantum Verde lemon flavour 3 mg lozenges also has a mild local anaesthetic effect.
Indications:
Analgesic - anti-inflammatory treatment for conditions of the oral cavity and pharynx in adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years of age.
Ingredients:
The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride. Each lozenge contains 3 mg benzydamine hydrochloride.
The other components are: isomalt (E 953), aspartame (E 951), citric acid monohydrate, mint flavour, lemon flavour, quinoline yellow (E 104), indigotine (E 132)."
Method of administration:
The recommended dose is one Tantum Verde lemon flavour lozenge 3 times a day.
Administration of lozenges to children under 6 years of age is not recommended. Administration of lozenges to children aged between 6 – 12 years should only be done under adult supervision.
The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
For maximum effect, it is advisable to let the lozenge dissolve in the mouth.
