Precautions

Tell your doctor or pharmacist before taking Baneocin cutaneous powder:

- If you have liver or kidney conditions (hepatic or renal insufficiency). Also, please monitor for any signs that may indicate kidney damage (loss of appetite, excessive thirst, reduced urine output, traces of blood in urine) or hearing impairment (loss of hearing for high-pitched sounds, noises, and a feeling of pressure in the ears).

- When using doses higher than recommended, especially in the treatment of varicose ulcers. If large quantities of this medicine are absorbed through the skin, there is a risk of muscle weakness. If you already experience muscle weakness (for example, if you suffer from myasthenia gravis or a similar condition), your condition may worsen.

- Prolonged use of antibiotics can lead to the emergence of resistant bacteria.

- Please monitor for signs of inflammation (warmth, redness, swelling, pain) or fungal infection (with fungi) appearing in the treated lesions.

Tell your doctor about these or any other unusual changes you notice.

Special warnings.

Pregnancy and breastfeeding

If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine. The use of Baneocin cutaneous powder is not recommended for pregnant and breastfeeding women. Baneocin cutaneous powder crosses the placenta. Application of Baneocin cutaneous powder to the breasts of breastfeeding women is contraindicated.
