SANDOZ DICLAC 5% GEL is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) containing 50 mg of diclofenac sodium per gram, designed to reduce muscle and joint inflammation and pain. Apply externally in a thin layer, 2-3 times daily, to the affected area. Available in a 100g tube, it's an effective solution for soft tissue injuries or rheumatism.
Description
Diclac is used in the local treatment of pain from degenerative rheumatism (arthrosis), muscle pain, and traumatic osteoarticular pain.
Diclac is used in the symptomatic treatment of:
- pain in localized forms of degenerative rheumatism, such as: arthrosis of small joints and the knee;
- muscle or traumatic osteoarticular pain (trauma to tendons, ligaments, muscles and joints, such as: dislocations, sprains, bruises, lower back pain);
- pain, inflammation and swelling in localized forms of abarticular rheumatism:
-tendinitis, bursitis, shoulder-hand syndrome and periarthritis.
Method of administration:
Diclac is administered externally, in a thin layer, 2-3 times a day, on the affected area. To achieve cutaneous absorption of the gel, a gentle and prolonged massage should be performed on the painful and/or inflamed area. Diclac is not recommended for use in children under 12 years of age. The active substance is diclofenac sodium.
