Nata Pura Pastel de Nata

Nata Pura Portuguese pastry specialty with egg cream - Pastel de Nata.

Traditional Portuguese gourmet dessert, made from milk and real eggs, in the form of small tarts, with a light and crispy pastry sheet, filled with traditional egg cream.
Clean label product. Pre-baked and frozen, ready to be prepared in the oven directly from the freezer.
Can be served with ice cream, coffee or anytime during the day.

Preparation recommendation

1. Preheat the oven to 230º, use the fan, if available;
2. Remove the product keeping the aluminum forms from the packaging and put them in the oven, without defrosting them. The more frozen they are when they start to bake - and the hotter the oven - the crispier they become;
3. Bake for 10-12 minutes. When the filling starts to rise, you will know that they are ready;
4. Remove the forms from the oven. Be careful, because they are quite hot at this moment!
5. Let them cool for 5-10 minutes before serving.

After baking, consume within 48 hours.

Storage conditions

Store at -18 degrees Celsius
