Composition.

The active substance is soft alcoholic extract from Serenoa repens. Each soft capsule contains soft alcoholic extract from Serenoa repens (9 - 11:1) 320 mg. Extraction solvent: ethanol (96%). The other components are: succinylated gelatin, glycerol, titanium dioxide (E 171), yellow iron oxide (E 172), black iron oxide (E 172) and carminic acid (E 120).

Therapeutic indications.

Prostamol uno contains an extract from dwarf palm fruits (Serenoa repens, Serenoa serrulata) which is a herbal medicine used in the treatment of the prostate.

Prostamol uno is used to treat micturition disorders (difficulty in emptying the bladder) in men with benign prostatic enlargement (benign prostatic hyperplasia), stages I and II.

Dosage and administration.

Always take this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as your doctor or pharmacist has told you. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

The recommended dose is 1 Prostamol uno soft capsule per day at the same time each day. Swallow the soft capsule whole with sufficient liquid, after a meal.

The duration of therapy depends on the nature, severity and evolution of the disease and is not time-limited. Please discuss this with your doctor.

Precautions.

Prostamol uno only improves symptoms if you have an enlarged prostate. It does not cure the enlargement. Therefore, see your doctor regularly.

You should see a doctor especially if:

¿ There is blood in the urine.

¿ Urine constantly drips due to an overfull bladder (urinary incontinence).

¿ You have a painful urge to urinate with inability to urinate (acute urinary retention).
