- Senna extract comes from the Cassia angustifolia species, native to Egypt, known and used for a long time, together with Cassia acutifolia, under the generic name C. officinalis. Senna extract contains specific glycosides, called sennosides, and contributes to the normal functioning of the intestinal tract.
- Rhamnus frangula extract comes from the plant also known by the popular name of Crusin; it is a shrub spread over the territory of Eurasia and North Africa.
- Crusin powder contains two active ingredients: frangulins and chrysophanic acid which contribute to maintaining normal intestinal peristalsis and maintaining normal stool consistency.
- Inulin passes intact through much of the digestive system, because it is indigestible by human enzymes. This results in an increase in the amount of fiber in the stool. Chicory helps support the flow of digestive juice, supports digestion and contributes to intestinal comfort.
