Indications:
Analgesic - anti-inflammatory treatment for conditions of the oral cavity and pharynx in adults, adolescents, and children over 6 years of age.
Ingredients:
The active substance is benzydamine hydrochloride. Each lozenge contains 3 mg benzydamine hydrochloride (equivalent to 2.68 mg benzydamine). The other components are: isomalt, acesulfame potassium, citric acid monohydrate, orange flavor, honey flavor, levomenthol, quinoline yellow (E 104), sunset yellow (E 110).
Method of administration:
The usual recommended dose is one Tantum Verde with orange and honey flavor lozenge 3 times a day. To achieve maximum effect, it is advisable to let the lozenge dissolve in the mouth.
Use in children and adolescents
Due to the risk of choking (by the lozenge slipping into the airways), administration of lozenges to children aged 6-12 years should only be done under adult supervision. Administration of lozenges to children under 6 years of age is not recommended.
Duration of treatment The duration of treatment should not exceed 7 days.
