Teichenne Tequilla Gold 888

After being distilled in small copper stills, Tequila Gold 888 is mixed with top quality caramel to enhance its aroma, giving it its characteristic taste and colour. Appearance: The Tequila has a bright amber yellow colour. Typical sweet tequila aroma with pleasant notes, giving it a dense bouquet, which reminds us of the distilled agaves, which leaves a dry taste, with sweet citrus notes.

About the producer

From yesterday...
Teichenne, S.A. is a family business dedicated to the production of spirits. It was founded in 1956 by the grandfather of the current manager, Marc Teichenne. In those days, production was totally artisanal and very limited, sales were limited to the nearest regions. It was not until the 1970s that Teichenne, S.A. expanded, as Joan Teichenne replaced his father.
The challenge was to create a wide range of products with great attention to product presentation and offering the best quality.
This is how the positioning in the Spanish market began, and the expansion took place when Teichenne introduced their well-known "schnapps" to the market, sweet fruit liqueurs with a medium alcohol content that were a novelty in the late 1980s and which in turn, opened the doors to exports, which have grown significantly since then.
...until today.
This constant growth in production meant that the distillery in l'Arboc (the Teichenne family's hometown) became too small and, therefore, in 1993 new facilities were built in Bellvei (Tarragona, Spain).
All this has made it possible for Teichenne to currently have a catalogue of over 400 products and to export to over 40 countries. At the moment they are clearly dedicated to the cocktail sector and supporting bartenders.
