An emblematic pilsner beer brand, Jever's origin is in the far north of Germany, in Friesland. The city of Jever has been renowned for beer since 1848, when the Frisian brewery was founded. The secret to its unique taste lies in the extraordinarily pure spring water, extracted from the same place as over 100 years ago. This allows the master brewer to add extra hops, thus achieving the bitter Frisian character that differentiates Jever from other beers from the very first sip. It has a full-bodied taste, balanced with prominent bitter notes, typical of pilsner beers.
