About the manufacturer

1987 is the year when the first cans of Red Bull were sold in Austria. Inspired by the highly popular functional drinks in Asia, Dietrich Mateschitz, CEO of Red Bull GmbH, founded the company that placed the first truly global energy drink on shelves in Austria, then throughout Europe (including Romania).

In 1996, Red Bull  arrived in Romania through an official distributor. Currently, Red Bull has 13,600 employees worldwide, and in 2021, 9.8 billion cans were sold. Annually, tens of millions of cans are consumed in Romania – when Romanians have fun, when they work, when they play sports, when they drive, when they study, or sometimes, in a moment of indulgence with a brand they appreciate.
