About the producer

On a sunny day in 2017, a Frenchman named François opened a brewery in Buzău. He knew Romania well and had fallen in love with the wild landscape at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains.
He was at a point in his life where he desired a significant change, to move away from the hustle and bustle, and to reconnect with nature. Coming from a family that produced beer in France and Belgium, François founded One Beer Later, bringing his passion for beer to the unspoiled east of Europe.
Since then, the brewery has grown steadily, developing a diverse range of quality craft beers, all produced with Romanian malt. From traditional recipes to innovative experiments, and with a special selection of beers aged in wooden barrels, each beer is a tribute to the beauty of the region where it was created.
Besides beer, the soft drink market is also changing, and more and more consumers are looking for natural ingredients and flavors. Based on this observation, we decided to step out of our comfort zone and, in 2020, we launched the artisanal soft drinks Magma. Currently, under the Magma brand, we have a Kola and a Tonic, produced with 100% natural ingredients in our factory in Buzău. Perhaps you've also heard of our famous Spruce Lahhentagge Tonic, made with spruce syrup and originating from Estonia. If not, you absolutely must try it!
And this is just the beginning of the journey. More surprises are to come, because at One Beer Later we are passionate and never stop testing and creating!
