Pure maple syrup is a 100% natural food, processed by thermal concentration of pure maple sap. This sap is a sterile, clear liquid that provides trees with water and nutrients before buds and leaves open in spring. During the boiling, concentration, and filtration processes, all nutrients remain in the syrup. It contains the minerals zinc, manganese, potassium, magnesium, iron, and calcium.
Grade A syrup is produced at the beginning of the season and is characterized by its light amber color. Lighter color, mild maple flavor, fewer minerals.
Recommended use: In any meal where you usually add sweetener. Perfect for pancakes.
