Saliform Forte cream by Antibiotice Iași is designed for muscle and joint care. Containing methyl salicylate and levomenthol, it is ideal both before sustained physical effort to help relax muscles and immediately after effort to reduce pain from overuse. This external cream is easy to use: simply apply to the affected skin area 3 to 4 times daily with a gentle massage.
Description
Composition
100 g cream contains methyl salicylate 15 g, levomenthol 10 g and excipients: stearic acid, glycerol monostearate, macrogol 25 cetostearyl ether, carbomer (Carbopol Ultrez 10NF), trolamine, purified water.
Therapeutic indications
Before sustained physical exertion - for relaxing the muscles to be engaged.
Immediately after sustained physical exertion - for pain reduction.
Musculo-tendinous-ligamentous pain caused by muscle overuse.
Dosage and administration
The recommended dose is 3 - 4 applications per day. Saliform forte is applied to the skin, gently massaging the affected area until completely absorbed.
Precautions
Saliform forte is for external use only.
Do not use under occlusive dressing.
Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes.
In case of skin irritations, discontinuation of administration is recommended.
If pain persists for more than 10 days without improvement, a doctor should be consulted.
Special warnings
Pregnancy, lactation, fertility
Preclinical studies in animals have shown teratogenic and toxic effects. To date, no controlled studies have been conducted in humans. Since methyl salicylate is absorbed through the skin and can cause central nervous system excitation phenomena, especially after application to large areas, the administration of Saliform forte during pregnancy and lactation should only be done after evaluating the maternal therapeutic benefit - potential fetal risk ratio.
Driving and operating machinery
It has no influence on the ability to drive vehicles and operate machinery.
